This comprehensive course covers the treatment of children
from newborn to 10 years of age. It will greatly benefit
practitioners who wish to add various Oriental techniques
into their existing paediatric practice AND those who have
never worked with children before.

15 CEU'S (PDA'S) BY THE NCCAOM (USA) and 14 CPE's by the AACMA (AUS)

The course is tailored for immediate results in
clinical practice and includes:

  • Practical demonstration of sho-ni-shin techniques, a Japanese style of acupunture using special non-invasive tools for children.
  • Identification of important features that makes the diagnosis and treatment of children very different than adults
  • Acupuncture points, herbal formulas and homeopathy for acute disorders such as fevers, respiratory and digestive problems that form the core of paediatric practice
  • Long-term management techniques of some chronic illnesses such as allergies, asthma and eczema
  • Dietary and lifestyle recommendations
  • Preventative tips to maximize the health of paediatric patients
  • Practical demonstration of Sho-ni-shin on children on Day 2

This seminar on women’s health will present a deeper understanding of a woman’s hormonal cycle from the TCM perspective. You will learn to diagnose and treat the various pathological factors affecting women from the menses through the menopause.

We will look at how acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas can be a powerful help during pregnancy and labor and we will focus on the management of immediate postnatal care as well as on recognizing long term disorders originating from untreated postpartum conditions.

On Sunday we will go in-depth into perimenopausal and menopausal disharmonies and cover specific complications such as fibroids, osteoporosis and uterine bleeding.

We will also cover the basic syndromes of endometriosis and how to manage it with Oriental Medicine through acupuncture and Chinese herbs.

This 2 day seminar covers 12 hours toward recertification purposes
