Soma Glick is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in NM, a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado
and a diplomate in acupuncture and herbology from the NCCAOM since 1993. After graduating from
the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, she has done internships both in
China and Vietnam.
She has taught pediatric acupucture and various other classes at SWAC in Boulder from 1998 to 2005.
Soma Glick started teaching week-end seminars on pediatric acupuncture in 2003. She's given 5
workshops so far in Boulder, Santa Fe, as well as in Hawaii and has taught with Jake Fratkin at
the CSOMA symposium in San Francisco.
Treating children has become a major part of her practice. For the last 9 months, Soma has been
on an extended stay in the island of Bali, where she donates one day a week, working intensively
with local infants and children at the "Bumi Sehat" birthing clinic of Ubud, which was founded
by Robin Lim, author of "After the Baby's Birth " and "Eating for Two."
Soma Glick has
written for Acupuncture Today and the Journal of Chinese Medicine.
